50th Reunion Legacy Fund

In June 2006, the Limestone Board of Education began many new and exciting changes to our school. We are fortunate that these much needed renovations coincide with our 50th Reunion. On your return to FSS, you will notice many structural changes: the Porta-pac which houses the English Department, was moved from the West to the East end of the school. In its place, a new wing will be constructed. The first floor will house several new classrooms and a media room, fully equipped with an editing booth and green screen. On the second floor, a larger, modern library will be constructed; and the old library above the cafeteria, will be converted into classrooms. With the installation of an elevator, our school will become fully accessible. Student Services Department has now relocated to the front of the school, adjacent to the Main Office and Administration.

On the occasion of our 50th Anniversary, the Reunion Committee thought that it would be a great idea to have our alumni participate in the rejuvenation of our school. We would purchase something that our school needs and it would be a permanent legacy of our 50th Reunion. Our school’s sign board is old and needs replacing. Through donations from alumni, we would like to purchase an electronic sign board to post our activities and accomplishments and to keep in touch with our community. The cost of an electronic sign board ranges from $15.000 - $20.000 and we are asking you to help us raise sufficient funds to achieve this goal. No gift is too small; we encourage all of you to support our campaign and donate whatever you can afford. With your help, we may be able to purchase and install it before the 50th celebration begins.

All donors will have their names published in a handout which will be included in your Reunion package. Please indicate the year you graduated and if you own a business or company, send us your business card or logo so that these could be displayed as well.
